DataForSEO Backlinks Summary live API — one of the three major backlink databases alongside Majestic and Ahrefs (paid API). The 0-100 score blends: dofollow RD (log10), DataForSEO Link Rank (0-1000 ≈ Ahrefs DR equivalent), broken-link ratio.

Why a usage cap?

Each query costs about $0.05 in DataForSEO credits. To keep the tool free and public, we limit to 10 analyses per day per browser (localStorage-based, not server). Plenty for legitimate use, tight enough to deter mass scraping. If you need more, contact us.

Score 100 = my site will rank everywhere?

No, it's an authority proxy. Ranking also depends on intent matching, freshness, Core Web Vitals, internal linking. A score of 80+ means you have enough authority capital to fight on competitive SERPs. Below 30, you don't have the muscle to compete on high-volume commercial KWs.

Link to Moz DA or Ahrefs DR?

DataForSEO Link Rank (0-1000) is analogous to Ahrefs DR and approximately scaled to Moz DA. All these scores are proxies for authority signal, computed on proprietary link graphs. None used directly by Google — but all correlate with observed ranking.
